Dr. Karen Rance is a distinguished clinician and medical affairs executive with over 20 years of experience in allergy, asthma, and immunology. As a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner, she combines extensive clinical knowledge with strategic leadership in patient care and the biopharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career, Dr. Rance has held key roles in both primary care and specialized allergy/immunology settings, demonstrating her commitment to improving health outcomes through innovative, science-based, and patient-focused approaches. As Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at a biotech company, she led cross-functional initiatives related to medical affairs, clinical support, and scientific communication, especially for breakthrough therapies in anaphylaxis. Previously, as Senior Director of North America Medical Affairs at a global allergy pharmaceutical company, she played a vital role in advancing medical strategies and clinical excellence across the region. During her tenure, she established and built all functions of the North American medical affairs operations.
